Jernej Kapus

Jernej Kapus is a professor at the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Sport. He holds degrees in Physical Education and a PhD in Kinesiology. He teaches courses such as Swimming 1 and 2, Basic Rescue Techniques, and School in Nature with Water Activities.

His research examines respiratory limitations in swimming, including respiratory muscle training and reduced-breathing methods. He has supported elite swimmers and the Slovenian Swimming Association. He publishes widely, created a popular instructional website for swimming education, and mentors students in swimming biodynamics and pedagogy.
